The FleetHunter Professional Transition Programme is designed for professionals with military, law-enforcement or professional-security backgrounds who are preparing or wish to enter the commercial maritime-security environment.
It builds on existing experience and focuses on how that experience is transferred, adapted and applied within shipboard hierarchy, professional standards and operational realities.

A three-day programme that helps professionals transition into the commercial maritime-security environment with the mindset, behaviour and professionalism required to operate effectively at sea. Previous maritime security experince not required. Maritime certificates are not required.
Day 1 – Understand
The Maritime Security Environment
Understand the commercial maritime-security environment, shipboard culture, hierarchy, authority, professional standards and the realities of life aboard.
Day 2 – Function
Professional Perfomance
Develop effective communication, reporting, judgement, teamwork and threat-awareness skills within the context of commercial maritime operations.
Day – 3 Demonstrate
Professional Transition
Apply learning through integrated scenarios, professional English assessment and the FleetHunter Professional Transition Assessment.
